Photo 365: 05.04.11 – 05.10.11

It’s been a good week as far as picture taking goes. As I said previously, I have been having such a hard time remembering to take my picture lately but this past week I did so good. May is a new month and I’m going to be back on track! As it happened, most of the pictures were on the go so many of them I took with my point-and-shoot since I carry it around in my purse, so those won’t have the information posted. Okay, ready? Here goes…

We started off the photo week with a trip to Atlanta for a couple of days. Whenever we start on a trip we always take a self portrait in the car. One of these days I will do a mini book of all of our car self portraits :)

Still in Atlanta, another car shot…

And finally, driving home from Atlanta on Friday. It was a good trip.

I’m pretty sure I have never mentioned this on the blog before, but I have a little job that I do just on Saturday mornings. I work in a real estate office answering phones. It’s a great little job and I love it. I love getting out of the house a bit and interacting with other people. I have been meaning to take a picture at work for quite some time but I always forget my camera (dslr). So I finally broke down and decided to use my point-and-shoot so at least I would have one. So here I am, pretending working away :)

I didn’t get to spend mother’s day with my Mom since she is still in Brazil but that doesn’t mean I wasn’t thinking about her. So here is some digital proof that I was thinking about my Mom on mother’s day :) This picture isn’t entirely in focus but I did the best I could for a self portrait! I focused on the tree branch, then using self timer, ran into the frame and stood next to the branch hoping I would be in focus. Since my depth of field is so shallow, I’m surprised is so close to being sharp even though it’s not :)

Just trying for a new perspective. This time of my feet :) I held the camera over my head to take this picture. The hard part was getting something in focus :)

Yesterday, outside, just after lunch. Not my favorite but you can’t win them all, right?! It’s wasn’t a good time to take pictures since it’s so bright at lunchtime but I needed to do it while I was thinking about it.

And that’s all I’ve got for the day. A whole week’s worth of pictures. Yay for me :) I hope you all enjoy your day, I have some fun projects planned myself!
