Photo 365: 03.30.11 – 04.05.11

I had fun this week with Photo 365. Especially the first two pictures I am going to show you…

18mm, 100 ISO, f/5.0, 5 sec

I set my camera to a very slow shutter speed (5 seconds), put it on the tripod and wrote on my chalkboard while it was taking the picture. I love how they turned out. It was a fun experiment and I will definitely be doing this again sometime.

There is something I find fascinating about hair. That might sound strange and I don’t even know what it is about hair that I like so much but it appears to have a mind of its own sometimes. That is how I felt about my hair on this day and so I took a picture of it with my arms above my head, holding my camera :)

50mm, 400 ISO, f/2.8, 1/125

A chore I do multiple times a day deserves a picture doesn’t it? At least I think so :) And I’m sure you are all glad to know that yes, indeed, I was my hands several times a day!

This photo was taken with my point and shoot because I happened to have it with me so I won’t record the settings. Our weather here has been random lately. Really beautiful one day and then stormy the next. On this particular day it was gorgeous so we went and had a little date at Starbucks. It’s a wonderful combination: my husband by my side and Starbucks :)
