Time for another round of photos. Here we go :)

50mm, 400 ISO, f/2.8, 1/50

I love taking pics of things that are out of the ordinary of daily life. Here’s something your might not know about me: I hate to make appointments. Not because I don’t like the appointment I have to keep, I just hate making them. I know, it’s a bit of a quirk. With that said, I don’t get my hair cut very often because I put off making the appointment which makes it out of the ordinary. But I made the effort last week and took my camera with me even though I’m sure everyone thought I was crazy. Do you like my expression? I was thinking so hard about taking the picture that I forgot to smile :)

Our house is on a bit of a hill (practically everything in Cleveland is) and it’s a doozy to run. This is the easy side of the hill, the other side kills me! For this shot, I set up the tripod on the front porch and hit the self timer button. Then I ran for the street and started up the hill. Then I did that a few more times until I got the perfect shot. I was tired from running back and forth before I even started my workout :)

All of the trees are really gorgeous in our part of the country right now. It one of the most beautiful times of the year and I love it. I walked a little ways to our neighbor’s house to pose in front of their magnolia. It happened to be pretty windy and while I wasn’t planning to take a windy picture it was whipping my hair like crazy and I kind of like how it turned out.

Have I ever mentioned how much I like stripes? I want stripes everywhere, on me, on my husband, and in my house. Stripes are the bomb. So, it’s not uncommon to catch me in a striped shirt. Stripes make me happy :) I took this picture outside and because of where I positioned myself, I ended up with an all white background because of the light. I like it!

No, I don’t normally read books in this position but I had already taken a book picture and so I wanted to do something a bit different. I love to read and I read a lot of books. I was engrossed in the newest Shopaholic book (I love that series) and I thought I should document it.

Just a random, candid moment. Do you ever just catch a glimpse of someone you love and just have to smile because you love them so much? I was walking past the kitchen and Jason was sitting there in the breakfast nook at the table and I just couldn’t help but smile. So I ran upstairs and grabbed my camera and took a self portrait of us. I love him so much :)

I love to play games. Any kind really and sometimes I can get addicted to them. Several years ago Jason’s parents taught me how to play pinochle. Since then I have loved the game and the more I play it, the more I love it. These are some friends of ours who we taught the game to and now they are addicted as well. It’s especially fun because we play boys against girls. This pic was taken last night and the boys won 3 games out of 5. Bummer for the girls. When the girls are winning we start chanting girls rule and boys drool. Oh yes, we are very mature :) We also might be known to do a bit of table talk. Just a bit…
