Photo 365: 02.16.11-02.22.11
Once again, another week has gone by. Doesn’t time fly?! It is already feeling like spring here and I even saw a couple of trees blooming the other day. I have lots of self portrait ideas for outside once it’s pretty out there again. Right now everything is bleak and bare but soon everything will have life again and it will be green! Yay! Until then, here are some more indoor shots…
50mm, 800 ISO, f/5.6, 1/60
I’m doing a candle experiment. I will have more details on it later (probably next month) but for now I’m having fun playing in the wax. Yes, I’m a bit of a pyro :)
50mm, 800 ISO, f/5.6, 1/60
This is a pretty basic shot except that I was taking a picture of the mirror without having the camera in the reflection as well. Instead of having the camera focused on me, I shot into the mirror and focused on my reflection. It took a bit of doing to get a shot that I liked okay but this is what I came up with. I think I might practice this a little bit more in the future.
50mm, 1600 ISO, f/2.0, 1/60
Not much to say about this shot. Basically, this is the first day I forgot to take a picture and I was lying in bed almost sleeping, I’m pretty sure it was 11:45 pm, and I realized I hadn’t taken one yet. So I ran to the other room and took a picture as fast as I could so I could go back to bed. I didn’t even care what it looked like. Ha ha :)
50mm, 800 ISO, f/2.0, 1/160
Here I am, making stuff for the party. I used the tripod for this one and the timer.
25mm, 1600 ISO, f/4.0, 1/40
At the birthday party. This was the only shot of the party that I took with the timer just so I could get my self portrait in for the day :) I like how it turned out though.
50mm, 800 ISO, f/2.0, 1/60
Yes, I know, I am still stuck on these little valentine’s Jason made for me. I just thought they were so cute and I didn’t want to throw them away so I taped them to my chalkboard. I’ll keep them there for a while at least :)
50mm, 400 ISO, f/2.0, 1/60
Yesterday I was getting ready to go somewhere and I thought I would snap a picture before I walked out the door. Jason happened to poke his head in while I was getting my camera settings fine tuned and so I wasn’t smiling since I knew it would be a throw away picture anyway. When he saw me he told me to smile and so this is the expression I gave him just to be ornery. It was great :)
