Here is my week in pictures:

I have this mirror at the end of my hallway. I thought it was cool how it looks like it’s a photo of me a frame.

Probably my favorite picture I’ve taken so far in this project. Jason had beat me to bed but wasn’t asleep yet and so I grabbed my tripod and set it right over him, literally :) Then I jump in bed with him and started firing off shots with my remote shutter. I love it!

I really wanted to capture my face in a partial shadow. I turned on a light right beside me and all of the other lights were off. It didn’t turn out to be exactly what I had in mind so I think I will try it again.

The weather was gorgeous and I had a new pair of shoes that I wanted to show off so I ran outside and snapped a few shots. I got these shoes at a thrift store for $2.75! I usually don’t wear yellow because it looks horrible with my skin color (I look like I have jaundice if yellow is next to my face) so a pair of shoes in yellow is perfect for me. This picture is taken on my back steps with my tripod and self timer.

My husband was really sweet on Valentine’s day. While I was still sleeping, he made breakfast for me (toast and hot chocolate, my favorite!) and then made little mini faux polaroids leading from the bedroom to my breakfast. When we sat down to eat Jason reminded me that I might like a picture of it. So I dashed upstairs to get my camera and took this shot.

This isn’t a self portrait but it goes with the above photo so you can see what I am talking about. Aren’t the little polaroids so cute?

And because I loved them so much I took a shot with one yesterday. Jason found all of the pictures on flickr and then made them to look like polaroids in Photoshop. He’s so good to me and knows just what I like!
