Ottoman Update
You may remember my ottoman project (found here). I love our little ottoman. Mostly because it’s so handy for our feet :) But I was never in love with the fabric. It was just kind of… blah. Recently, I found some quirky fabric that for some reason I love, and it became a source of inspiration for my little ottoman.
Once again to remind you, here is a before picture:
And here is the crazy fabric that I found at a thrift store for $4:
I don’t know why I love it so much since I know it’s quirky. Maybe it has something to do with my recent horse obsession. Who knows :)

What do you think? Is the fabric too crazy for your tastes? I love it and I think it gives the room a little pizazz.
The ottoman will be making its home in the family room but right now we are working on painting the floors. We just finished putting on the last coat but we have to wait 7 days until we can put any furniture on it. Once everything is back to normal, I will show you finished pictures of the room, horse ottoman and all :)

I like it, crazy but cute. I did think you were going to use it in the guest room though….. Can’t wait to see the finished room with the floors all painted. Good work! (and the pillow, I thought the colors all ran together…)
I want to see it all together. I wouldn’t do it, but I’m sure if anyone can pull it off, you can. It will be a great conversation piece. I’m hoping to do more of that in my own home.
Okay…confession: I don’t love horses.
