Scrapbooking: En Route

As I said in a previous post, I recently went to Oregon. The reason I went is so I could drive back with my dad from Oregon to Tennessee. My parents recently bought a house here (yay for me!) and so I volunteered to make the trip in the rental truck with my dad. We had such a great time and I took a few pictures along the way to document it. As soon as I got home I started working on a scrapbook of our journey so I wouldn’t forget anything. I just finished today and I am ready to share it with you!

I still really love these clear covers. They are so fun! I purchased mine from here a couple of years ago and I don’t think she makes them anymore but there are plenty of other companies that make the clear albums.

All of the patterned papers I printed using the Repro Depot pattern book (folk). My brother got if for me for Christmas (thanks Josh!) and I love it! I have been wanting to print every single pattern! I thought the colors were perfect for this mini book so I printed about 10 or so different patterns and used them for the whole book. Now, after seeing how much I can use them, I really want the other pattern book Flora as well! There are about a million projects I could use these for.

I also used maps, vintage papers, manila file folders, and kraft paper. I also used my typewriter a bunch and of course added some sewing. I wanted the book to look less than perfect so it would look a bit vintage-y. Anyway, if you want to see the rest of the book, take a look at my flickr account.

I hope you all have a great weekend! I know I’m planning to :) The sun is out and I want to enjoy it!
