Doily Stickies In Action
I know Valentine’s day is over. Really, I do. But I just wanted to show you one more thing I made for V-day because I used the doily stickies from the shop for this little project.
Aren’t they cute? I made these little treats for friends and I think the doily stickies are the finishing touch!
To make these little treat bags I used an 8.5” x 11” sheet of vellum and folded it in half. Then I cut the paper to 5” (they end up being 5” x 5.5”). Next, I used my sewing machine and just sewed down the sides of the folded paper. To make things go quicker, you can just feed one after another. I also varied my thread color and stitch just for a change. Fill with candy and fold over the top. Then, I put the stickers in my typewriter and typed, “so sweet” and stuck them on the bag to seal them.
I think these would be so cute for a bridal shower or even to use at a wedding as favors. It’s simple and inexpensive. Enjoy!

Sew sweet (pun intended) – these are just perfect! Great project for kids too – they can place the sticker after they fill the envelope with all the goodies.
You never cease to amaze me – will be bookmarking this one for a school project (when we get to that age)…thanks for the nice visuals too :)
Yes, most definitely a sweet idea!
aaaaaadorable!
