Gifts: Travel Bags
Today I would like to share with you another gift I gave to my Mom. My parents have been traveling a lot lately and when I travel I like to have lots of little bags to pack things in so my suitcase is neat and orderly. With that in mind, I decided to make some little travel bags for my Mom. And since I was taking the time to make them, I thought they should be cute as well as functional!
To make these little guys, I had to experiment a for a bit but eventually I got it just right. They are lined so you can throw whatever you want in them. This was only my second time working with a zipper so I was pleased with the way they turned out.
And for some close ups:
You may remember this fabric from my purse. The purse was also my inspiration as far as the pleats go.
Gotta love fabric flowers! This tutorial was found here.
This bag was actually the proto type but I think it turned out cute!
Now that I have finished making these for my Mom, I think I will make some for myself!

Love them. Nice work, I really don’t like doing zippers, avoid it all cost, but hmm I may need to give these a go!
Those are really cute, Kel! I think we were talking about doing those this time last year. I can’t believe it has been a year already. :) Have a Happy New Year with the fam!
I love them too!!!! What a great gift and it makes it even that much better to know you made them with me in mind.
Once again, amazing! SO SO SO cute, and totally functional. The best of both worlds!
