A Couple of Firsts
On Saturday, Jason and I had the privilege to share in a couple of firsts for us. Some new friends of ours, Nick and Amber were getting married and they asked us to be a part of it. They asked Jason to perform the ceremony (his first) and me to help take pictures (my first wedding!) along with my dear friend Heather who is also Amber’s sister. We were all the more honored because it was a very small, private affair and we were the only attendees who weren’t family.
Here are a few pictures from this beautiful day at Signal Point Park in Signal Mountain, Tennessee:
Signal Point Park is an amazing place with incredible views. It was a challenge to capture the brilliant surroundings to do them justice.
My husband rocks! Seriously, he did an amazing job and I’m so proud of him!
Such a cute moment when Jason stepped away to get the rings…
Pronouncing them husband and wife!!!
A shared kiss. And because I have now posted this on my blog, it’s no longer a private moment :)
An awesome headband made especially for Amber by Tobi of Ivey Handcrafted.
After the ceremony I tagged along with Rich to learn as much as I possibly could while we photographed the newlyweds. Thanks to him, these were my best pictures of the day!
This is definitely my favorite!
Although I love this one too :)
I love couples holding hands
And I ended on a good note. This was literally my last shot of the day and then my card was full. I had to call it quits!!
Thank you for having us be a part of your day Nick and Amber! We enjoyed it very much! Be sure to check out Rich and Heather’s blog for more pictures of the day!!

Hey Kellie :) Nice to meet you unofficially. These photos are beautiful. I especially love all the kissing ones :) Thanks for the blog love :) xo
Kellie, Wow, what incredible pictures. Thank you so much for capturing these moments between us. We really love and cherish them. We were so honored to have you and Jason there, for some reason you didn’t feel -not like family – if that makes sense! We couldn’t be happier with the photos, really, they are so meaningful to us. Sorry for giving you and Heather the worst light ever :)
Much love and props!

Wow! What great photos! And what a lovely setting for a wedding. I’ve been there so many times, but it’s always refreshing to see it from another point of view. Cute couple!
