Famine Or Feast
I feel like I say this every time I write a blog post but I have got to be the worst blogger in the history of the planet. It’s either famine or feast around here! I have been meaning to blog for the last 2 weeks but every time I go to do I can’t figure out what to blog about. Am I the only one with that problem? I feel like I have to have something interesting to write about to warrant a whole post or I at least have to have pictures of something! If you have any topics you want me to write about, please let me know!
Famine weeks usually occur because I haven’t finished what I’m working on so I don’t have pictures or it’s because I’m doing boring things. It really was a goal of mine this year to be a better blogger and I sure haven’t met that goal! Well, except for our regular blog, I have done much better on that front. I am trying… really. :)
The reason for the famine these past couple of weeks is because I’m working on a lot of things simultaneously, like usual. (I wish I were the type of person to start something and finish it but I’m not. And so, since I’m not, I’ve embraced this part of me and try to use it to my advantage.) I have been working on new product and I’m really excited about what’s coming. But I’m also working on, basically, a face-lift of the shop and so I want to unveil it all at once. I’m working ferociously and I’ve even got my husband doing some things. I’m super excited for it to all come together and I can’t wait to share it with all of you. While I wanted to release the new product earlier, it will just have to wait until I’m finished with everything. So keep hanging on… it will come!
A couple things I have done recently (since I can’t post without pictures!)…
working on a mini book documenting Heather and my photography lessons
a cd cover I made out of a fossil gift box (I love that pattern!)
This material is waiting for me to begin sewing my new pajama bottoms. Jason’s Mom got it for me while they were visiting. I love Amy Butler! I will definitely post about them once they are finished… if they turn out well :)
As to all the things that are coming, I’m not going to make any promises when it will happen because it seems I keep push it back. But I will say that I am getting closer! Then there will be new product and a few giveaways so thanks for hanging in there!

Those CD holders are awesome!
I know the feeling of not always knowing what to write. I am soooo there on my own blog. Can’t wait to see what we’re waiting on seeing….!!!!
Love you.
ah, I am going to go nuts over your scrapbook of our photography lessons…I may even steal it from your house at some point :) sneaky, sneaky! And love your CD cover!
Kellie.
Love the photography album – really nice and graphic.
And I am such a fan or Amy Butler’s stuff! Have you tried out any off the freebie patterns at her site? I did a little kid’s craft class last year and we made a bunch of the fabric trees. I also have her book “Little Stitches for Little Ones” and I made the baby quilt from it for my niece last Christmas. Great stuff.
