I’m stuck on Mini Books

As I have mentioned previously, I love mini books. I’m sort of stuck on them right now. In fact, yesterday I was going to look through my 2008 album (I have an album for every year) and realized, there are no pages in it. I have not made a single normal scrapbook page yet for 2008 and the year is almost half over! Shame on me. I will definitely put that on my to do list. But, on the flip side, I have made a bunch of mini books!

That brings me to today’s subject: the completed mini book I mentioned in the last post. I had so much fun making this mini. I decided to let myself be free, to have no restrictions and to not try and make it the best I have ever done but to just have fun. In doing so, it came together really fast and I just got to play. I think it’s turned out to be one of my favorites. Funny huh?! When you are just going for it and not worrying about how perfect it is, the imperfection is better. So here are a few pictures of the finished book. I won’t post all of them here because there were many but if you want to see all of them, go to my flickr account.

As I said in the previous post, I made 2 more of these books. They are different from this one; they are smaller and have a different cover, but cute just the same. I decided to put the in my Etsy shop so if you want one, make your way over there. Or, make your own, it was really fun!
