Colors and a Sneak Peek

Do you get inspired by color? I know I do. I saw these pictures of this house via design*sponge and I just love the color pallet. White, gray, and yellow. My current favorite colors. Check out the whole article about the house, it’s delightful (and it’s in Oregon)!

I have always loved white, it will always be at the top of my list. But my other favorite colors tend to change frequently. I have been in love with gray for awhile now too and I just can’t seem to get enough of it. Sometimes I want to paint every room in my house gray. I grew up in Oregon so you’d think I would be sick of gray but I still love it. Maybe that’s the reason I love it so much: it reminds me of home! But also, right now, my other favorite color is yellow. In all shades. It’s so wonderful I just want to eat it. Well, more like smother it all over my whole house and include it on all of my products :) It surprises me because I have never really been a huge yellow fan. I had a brief affection for the color when I was a senior in high school but I quickly got over it. So it kind of feels refreshing to like yellow. It’s a new, different color for me to love. About a year ago I painted my bathroom yellow (as seen in this post) and have been loving it ever since. All of that to say, yellow has definitely inspired the new product for this month.

During the last few days I have been working on the new products for April and so I thought I would share a little sneak peek. This is how color inspires me. I saw these paperclips and thus they became the color pallet for the new mini book.

And here’s the mini book. I’m still finalizing the details, but it’s getting there.

So, be on the lookout for yellow this month! There will definitely be more to come…
