A Christmas Book
Well, I thought that maybe I should post about an advent book that I made before Christmas passes me by! I made a book for myself last year to keep on my coffee table and this year I made another one for my mother-in-law. The pictures aren’t super great because I was in a rush to get it sent at the beginning of this month (and my fingers are in most of the shots to keep the book open)!
Here are some of my favorite pages. I used some ej&t goodies including the famous red numbers. Ever since Ali posted that entry and used them in her magazine article, they have been selling like crazy. I thought, hey, if everyone else is using them for their Christmas books, I should too! So here you go:
A side view of the book. I bought this book on the $1 shelves at Target (actually I bought a bunch) and they are the perfect size for a gift scrapbook since they come together really fast.
Pages one and two. The paper is Basic Grey fruitcake as is most of the patterned paper in this book.
Pages five and six. Of course I had to throw some Hambly in there :)
Pages nine and ten. More Hambly. The sticker that “Joy to the World” is on is from here. I also love the Basic Grey ribbons and the glitter letters from Martha Stewart.
Pages 15 and 16. More Basic Grey, more Hambly. Love. Love. Love.
If you would like to see the rest of the book, click here to go to my flickr account. Make sure you check out the ej&t flickr group to see how more people have used the number tags in their Christmas books!
I hope you are enjoying the Christmas season as much as I am. I will hopefully get one more post in before Christmas!
