Yikes, Stripes! 2010 Calendar

I actually did it! I completed this year’s calendar! For a while there I wasn’t sure if I was going to have time but I’m glad I did because I love it! Not only did I create a wall calendar, but I also created little calendar tags which I call a pocket calendar. They are so cute :) Here are some pictures!

I have been so into stripes. Stripes, stripes, stripes! Of all kinds… So I decided to do the whole calendar in stripes and the name of it is Yikes, Stripes! So fun! Here are some pictures to show it all laid out:

First I taped it to my blackboard.

Then I lined them all up on a shelf in my craft room. I think it looks cute wherever it is displayed.

It’s double sided, month on the front, stripes on the back.

When all the stripes are together it makes me think of a candy store. It also looks like a fun version of the kids game Memory :)
