2010 Valentines
Before Valentine’s Day comes and goes, I thought I would share with you the Valentines I made this year. I don’t always make Valentines but for some reason I was in the mood and here is what I came up with:

I had been seeing this “Wood you be mine?” floating around the internet and so I decided to use the phrase for myself. To create them, I used different free digital files I found here and there.

For the faux bois pattern, I used a file created by Paper Crave. You can download your own here. It’s actually for Halloween so I just manipulated the colors to work for me.

The pink label was found on Two Peas here. Again, I manipulated it a bit to take out the journaling lines and change the interior from white to pink.
And lastly, the font is Rosewood and you can find it here.
They are pretty simple to make. Mine are a 3.5” x 5” flat card. Once printed, I rounded the corners. If you have a bit of Photoshop knowledge, a printer, and some fun textured paper, you can make these too. Have a Happy Valentine’s Day!
Hello, and welcome to my little blog! What started out as a blog to show some of my scrapbook pages ended up being a blog that shows all of my projects, ranging from scrapbooking to decorating to sewing to photography. I also run a little online shop called
